Verizon Fios Deals

One of the best ways to shop today is online. Not only can you find great deals on merchandise, but you can also order services for your home with your home computer and internet connection. Companies also want you to order online, as it cuts out the need to have your order processed by a human. One company utilizing the internet and offering customers and incentive to order online is Verizon. With the Verizon Fios deals now being offered, the best place to order service is online. Why?

Verizon Fios is a newer service, and not available across the county. Because Fios is a regional product, it is easier for Verizon to market through the internet rather than nationally where they would be getting inquiries from areas they don’t serve at all. In utilizing the internet, Verizon can direct interested customers to their webpage where then can check on Fios availability, and then order the service there if it is available.

Verizon Fios deals change frequently, so it is best to check their site for the current offers. In 2009, Verizon was big on offering cash back to new customers based on the Verizon package they ordered. Oftentimes, you could find a Fios deal which offered an incentive of $150 or more to try out the service. At this time, these deals have been changed up a bit.

The Fios deals for 2010 seem to be leaning more toward the model offered by cable and satellite television companies like Dish Network. Current offers include monthly discounts on service for the first year. For example, one Verizon deal offers their triple play of voice, internet, and TV service for $84.99 a month if you order the deal online. This reflects a $20 monthly package discount for all customers, and an additional $5 discount for ordering online. Overall, a new customer would save $300 over the normal price with this Fios deal.

Included with this particular offer is the Verizon Freedom Essentials, which is the unlimited local and long distance calling and several calling features. The Fios Internet 15 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload is the second piece of this bundle. And finally the Fios TV Prime HD package rounds out this offer, which includes 220 channels total and 40 HD channels.

Verizon Fios recently raised prices on their TV packages, and that will mean people will be taking a harder look at their pricing structure. While the Verizon Fios deals offered in 2010 deserve strong consideration, be sure to evaluate any cable or satellite deals that may also serve you well.
