DISH Network offers several programming packages for you to choose from. While it’s great to have everything, not everyone needs or wants 300+ channels. Let’s take a look at a basic DISH Network bundle, the America’s Top 100 package. This package is on par with the DIRECTV Choice package.
This DISH Network package is considered an entry-level package, comparable to basic cable. But if you compare a basic cable package from Comcast or Time Warner cable to the DISH Network America’s Top 100 package, you will probably save yourself a few bucks.
With this being DISH Network’s most popular package, what can you expect? All of the major cable network channels can be found here. Expect plenty of news, sports, children’s programming and entertainment. Add to that music channels, shopping, educational and even a few religious stations, and you have something for every family. This package also contains quite a few commercial free audio stations, so you can have continuous music broadcast throughout your home.
There are a couple of flavors available with the America’s Top 100 package. The base package is $32.99 a month currently. Many opt for the America’s Top 100 with DishDVR Advantage. This package is $39.99 currently, and includes all of the great things that come with a digital video recorder. The DishDVR with AT100 offers a two room DVR, so recorded programming is accessible on both TV’s.
Another option is the America’s Top 100 Plus. This package includes the 100 channels listed below, and also adds your local channels and any regional sports networks available in your area, such as the Fox Regional sports networks.
If you just want your local channels, those can be added for $5.00 a month. Here is the current list of channels available in the AT100 from Dishnetwork.
